A tropical theme or touches are very easy to achieve and worth it when you need some downtime or are hosting a get together. The laidback life style of the islands is popular with almost everyone!
With the summer just around the corner, stores are gearing up. They're pulling out all the stops to enchant you with their patio decorating ideas. I recently went to Pottery Barn and was enamored with all the different themes and schemes they had for patios porches and decks. One of my favorites was a vignette called "Escape to Summer". Very tropical feel to it with a simple pergola structure. They laid rattan, roll up blinds (unrolled of course) as the "roof" over the pergola beams, hung tons of lanterns with rope and had a table set underneath. They used beachy items like seashells, starfish and sand to create centerpieces and table decor along with all white dishes and linen napkins. It was basically an elegant tropical theme. GORGEOUS!
Get inspired by walking through some of your favorite stores. Retail stores have hugely talented visual merchandisers. I wanted to pack up and take the whole display home with me! Inspiration can come from anywhere. Keep your eyes open!
