Not to leave out the men on your list, this week, we are looking at some Christmas present ideas and stocking stuffers for guys.
He's probably got enough pajamas and ties -- we need to dig deeper in that well of ideas for something that might truly get him excited on Christmas morning.
I have a husband, son, dad, nephews and many brothers-in-law that are on my list each year. They are all unique and different and I am constantly looking for new ideas of gifts they will actually like and use!
For my nephews who happen to be teenagers, we draw names. I buy a gift for one of them and get stocking stuffers for the rest. It's not always easy to come up with stocking stuffers for teen boys. One is a sports nut, one likes to fish and hunt and the remainder have varied interests. I find out what type of music, cell phone, gadgets and other interests they have and try to buy appropriate items for each.
My youngest nephew is still a kid -- under 10. He loves to build things, dinosaurs, soccer and robots. I found a lot of cool stocking stuffer ideas for him including Joe Bender, Legos and robots you build and then play with!
My husband is trying hard to get on the technology bandwagon. He's not a big computer guy but he does use the internet for looking up news about his favorite teams and sports as well as for email. He doesn't have a computer of his own so I am trying to decide which tablet to get him this Christmas.
My dad is older and even less tech savvy than my husband. We ended up getting him a Kindle Fire last Christmas and it was wonderfully received. I can't believe how much progress he has made in a year with technology!
My BIL's and son are all very different. I am playing with the idea of a couple of holiday gift baskets for men for some of them and regular Christmas present ideas for the rest of the men. Oh, and two of my brothers-in-law have "man caves". This provides the perfect opportunity for a gift! Clocks, signage, games and more are all great ideas for his man cave!
