Fat Chef's have become a staple in many kitchens nowadays. I mean, what better place for a chef than the kitchen?
They can be fun, whimsical, serious, and cultural. You can use them en-mass or just a couple as accents and conversation pieces.
My mom has Fat Chef's in her kitchen and loves them to death! Her bare bones kitchen is yellow walls, black counter tops and appliances and white cabinets. She accents with a dark red (like the chef kerchiefs) and black and white checks in her decor.
It looks amazing with the yellow colored base. She's not quite finished with it yet but I'll show you some pictures when she is.
My friend, Susan, has a wonderful site full of all things for the Fat Chef enthusiasts. Clocks, wall decor, cookie jars and more all together in one spot. She also has articles to help you decide colors, what sort of decor and other elements you would incorporate in a Fat Chef Kitchen.
In the article titled, "A Fat Chef by Any Other Name", she talks about the different names for the fat chef's, how many varieties are available and the joy of having a chef grace your kitchen. It's fun and informative. Take a look -- I'm sure you will agree, it's a great site!

We, at Fat Chef Kitchen, are thrilled with this wonderful mention of our site. And you are right – there is so much that can be done with this theme. In little ways and big ways. BTW: can’t wait to see your mom’s kitchen when she finally feels it’s complete!
